My new year..

Here is a picture of my sophomore team...aren't they cute? I am loving it..they are so much fun! The picture on top is actually our coaching staff picture for this year! We have a lot of fun together! I am really blessed to be here. Our first game is tomorrow against Mountain View..wish us luck!!

Our new addition!!

Well....we did it...we got a puppy. Crazy to think...new state, new jobs, new house, and now a new addition to our little family. We found her on Friday night in Draper Ut and we couldn't leave without taking her home..she is so cute! She is a cockapoo...for most of my life I have grown up with a cockapoo named Ralph. He was by far my favorite, and when we moved away from Virginia I missed him alot. Luckily we found a little baby girl cockapoo just like Ralph and I am so excited! We were trying to think of a name for her...so of coarse I started thinking of things I love. One thing I love more than anything is shoes...athletic shoes...NIKE shoes to be specific. Greg and I learned in college that NIKE actually was the greek goddess for Victory, so what better thing to name her than Nike? So here she is...little Nike J Larsen. We love her very much and are very excited to have her in our family! I hope all is well with you all...sorry it's taken me so long. I haven't had internet until tonight!

The Backyard The Basement....

Well....the time has come. Greg and I have bought our first house!! We do the walk through this next week. We are pretty excited. It is in Spanish Fork Utah, and really close to where I work so that will be nice come winter. It is crazy, but we are so thankful that we are able to take another step in our lives. Hope all is well with everyone!! Love you!!

I feel so grateful for the spirit I was able to feel this past weekend. There was one talk the hit me particularly hard, and that was President Monson's talk on Change. Change is a word that I have always been very afraid of, yet I have been learning on how to embrace change rather than run away from it. Life will change, people will come and go, and not letting a moment pass is something very important. Expressing myself is something that has never been easy for me, in fear that life in fact will change. Yet listening to the talk by such a righteous man, I felt the spirit so strong. I realized that life goes on one step at a time, and as long as we keep the eternal perspective in life, everything will work out, and whatever happens, happens for a reason. I am so thankful for that knowledge, and I can only hope that I can do better at accepting change and not letting moments pass without expressing myself, and do the things which matter most. I am so grateful for this church and the knowledge I have....I hope you all had an amazing conference just as I did. I hope all is well! Love you all!

Time...

I had the chance to see one of my oldest, best friends this weekend. She came down, and it was a GREAT surprise for me! Her little baby is so adorable...it is crazy to think that we have been friends for so long, and have gone through everything we have together. I cannot thank her enough for everything she has done for me in my life, and even for things she may not even know she has done. She truly has always been a great example to me, and I look up to her more than she knows. It truly made me think of how thankful I am for people Heavenly Father has put in my life....Thanks for coming to visit Heather!!

My Classroom

Ok so the family has been bugging me for pictures of my classroom so here it is! I love it there! Seriously every day I leave thinking to myself I have the BEST JOB IN THE WORLD! I love my kids, my aides, my co-workers....everything about my situation right now I love and couldn't be happier! Love you all and hope everything is going well!

Jack Johnson

Ok ok...I know I have been slacking but, you see I will explain. My amazing husband got me tickets to see one of my favorite singers Jack Johnson for my birthday. Due to him not being in Utah, I took one of my good friends Aubrey. With all of the excitement, and possibly second hand weed smoking, I seemed to have lost my camera case which in turn I lost my camera USB chord. So I haven't been able to get pictures off of my camera. Finally I am able to, here are a few pics of Aubrey and I at the concert it was SOOOO FUN! Jack was amazing! And I almost got backstage because it was my birthday! AMAZING NIGHT!!! Thanks hunny! That was the best birthday present!
